Al,
I am often amused at how much interest the right expresses in the characteristics of the president and so little in the "mcconnell" doctrine, which has seen the GOP sacrifice the welfare of the country to the single minded goal of opposing said president at all costs.
McConnell didn't invent this doctrine.

Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi did the exact same thing in 2007 and were hugely successful.
