EKS, that's a nice stab you took at evaluating the mlp's. Better than anything I can come up with anyway.

I don't believe I can make a cogent case for NWN or OKS as value picks at their current prices. I was looking for some dividend-yields, looking for stocks utility/mlp stocks off their highs, and at least overall positive target prices from the analysts who follow these companies.

Part of the purchase also has to do with my wanting to put more money to work in the market, and the type of stocks I might be willing to step up for now with value plays seemingly more scarce.

Sold my NI, which I owned since 11-19-12. PE wasn't great when I bought it and is now approaching silly. 2013 PE ~ 18.
