Virtually ALL resource funds have been hit by redemptions. This has been the main source of the selling over the past couple of months. Price declines have been exacerbated by the high frequency trading algorithms. These programs are in the markets every day, trading stocks that have high volume and high volatility. When the micro-trend is down, they sell and cover. And when the micro-trend is up, they buy and then get out. In and out, hundreds and thousands of times a day.
