The reaction of the likes of McCain and Graham to the Rand Paul filibuster confirms to me that the old guard needs to step aside. There is a new reality in DC these days, and the Gentleman's Club that used to exist in the Senate is gone.

the power goes to their heads. look at the repubs in the 50s and 60s the dems ran everything. Rush tells a story about the leader of the minority (repub). He said the majority leader would come over to him and say jim (or what ever his name was) why don't you and your repubs buds go play golf today why we dems work on some things, tonight I will buy you dinner and tell you what Laws we voted on. The minority guy would say OK, and that's how we got country club republicans who did nothing. McCain is from that school
