Wrong analogy on Central Bank buying / selling.
Eastern banks have miniscule reserves compared to what the Western banks had in the 1990s.
Eastern banks will eventually have their currencies tied to (not backed by) gold.
And then they will have a reserve currency rivaling (or surpassing) the U.S. dollar.

And if gold drops below 1500, Jim Rogers will start adding - not too many people around who are better than Rogers at valuing assets on a long term relative basis.
