Nev... your employment line seems at odds with lower productivity... Biz investing in plant and machinery... not jobs... hence improved productivity... Look at GM up here.. no mention of more jobs ... just less likely to lose jobs.. but greater flexibility and productivity.. GM Invests I doubt employment really gets much more traction for a long while.. we just don't need that many more workers.. unless in construction... or services ... certainly not in an energy fueled manufacturing renaissance .. In the US aren't more manufacturing jobs going where workers are paid less (Auto industry moves ?)

There is still a sleeping giant in the US... hope you are right... because by and large us Canadians are just too damned lazy to get off he US teat.. and if it dries up more we are farked.. but in the age of instant gratification... I think far too many of the people are bought off.. Rome was changed from without... not within...

Rich folks are fine.. but the growing wealth gap doesn't seem to be motivating much change yet.. and without a vibrant middle class, countries don't work so well... or not for long... US did fine with revolution #1... but often revolutions are a Who song... (We don't get fooled again)
