Tim, this is great news! The placement was keeping a lid on the stock price. Did you notice what a coincidence it was that the price was hovering around $3.40??? The money raised should help substantially in the rollout of new products. A swiss institution bought the whole thing. That is impressive too. Shares are restricted. In February the warrants will be out of the way also (either excercised or expire worthless). I also believe that the short position was a result of this private placement. If the shorts cover now that the placement is over, this could give a nice boost to prices.

As I have said before, 1998 is going to be an exciting year for JMAR. I especially liked this statement from Dr. Martinez:

''Britelight precision lasers, which have demonstrated unparalleled performance, are the foundation of JMAR's patented PXS X-ray lithography source and are the basis for our ultraprecision laser manufacturing systems, which we expect will make their debut in the marketplace in 1998.''
