Brezezinski has seen the Obama policy now, I wonder what he has to say -- because Obama's policy has turned out to be far weaker than Bush's ever was. That wasn't the subject at hand. The subject was did Scarborough put Krugman in his place. I doubt it based upon my past exposure to Scarborough........but I confess I have not seen the video. Having said that, frankly, I would prefer that the US stay out of the Israeli mess because the Israelis are not the innocents Republicans love to portray and there is no hope for peace given the attitudes of both the Israelis and the Palestinians. They have become the eternal Bickersons and everyone knows its best to stay away from Bickersons. So, what exactly should Joe be embarrassed about now? I don't think Joe should be embarrassed about anything. I think Joe is a reasonably smart man. I don't agree with most of his politics but I think, unlike many wingers, he attempts to be fair. And for that, I will always be appreciative.
