Clearly, this unfamiliarity with humility permits such people to consider themselves not only the center of the universe--but the purpose thereof! All religions share this incredible arrogance and (let us be honest and frank)--*stupidity.* Well in the case of the resident drones here certainly fit this description, whos abilities to cherry pick history & ignore the huge bulk of it is only proportionate to the fictions of fairytales to which they ascribe.What we are seeing again is the same tactics of centuries old ingrained polemics characterizing the righteous as undergoing persecution which we see in the frantic right-wing rhetoric about the “war on Christianity” by some demonizing left . (We see an exact replay of this over in the other 1/2 of the world by the other tribal mystics & religious zealouts, the Chinese couldnt really give a shit. ) But to listen to these nimrods wail about the good & just conservative sacred teachings being so challenged ,one could hope they would at least be able to harken back to the very prominent culture clash of right vs left that happened in early Rennaissance Florentine Italy. And what that time produced were some of the greatest geniuses, humanist thinkers and the most fabulous growth and expansion of science & arts in Western culture. Clearly a case being made here for that kind of liberalism , that expansion & exploration of the dimensions of human thought not towards some imaginary magic realms but that of the world as it is itself, that is pretty limitless. (as telescopes & microscopes & physics revealed)
