the deputy fed is even more of a printer than ben
the fed will never stop...all a game of talking the market into thinking that they will stop
ever 30 bp rise in rates wipes out the capital that the fed has
now they are talking of holding everything to maturity and not paying the interest back to the treasury because they have no choice
buying of mortgages now is taking the toxic sludge off the balance sheets of the banks and holding it until maturity. this is the stuff that they could not even put in "bad bank: during TARP
Why will the system not allow an accounting of what the Fed is buying and from whom? Are they a hedge fund?
How can one know who is selling into the buy programs? Are these toxic HELOCs?
