I'd love to say I'm a power hitter off the tee but I'm not. 245 - 250 is about my outer edge with a driver. On many holes I'll use a 3 wood because it helps me keep it straight. My 5 wood is a weapon - I never miss and it's about 220 & straight as an arrow. It's a shorter club which is why I can control it. My iron game is strange. My 9 iron is good from 165 which is fairly long. My wedge is 140 which is also fairly long. What makes my iron game odd is that my 5, 4 and 3 irons all top out at about 200. I could carry a 9,8,7,5 and a driver, 3, & 5 wood and not be missing anything. I've never used a SW which I should probably add because I find myself hitting a 1/2 to 3/4 swing on shots of 110 or less. My game isn't always pretty but I used to shoot a consistent 72-79. These days (because I don't play enough) I'm very capable of shooting a 90 which irritates me. Once you play at a certain level and regress the game becomes a source of anger lol. I'm not a club thrower my my language is quite vile....bordering on uncivilized. I'm not a good putter, I can't get the ball to back up. When I'm on my game I'm 1 bounce and stop with my 9 & wedge. Truth be told - I'm often better off better a little short of the green and doing a pitch & roll because I putt like sh!t. I tend to slice with my driver. If I know the course I can usually get myself out of trouble but I ALWAYS shoot a new course poorly. I don't like bent grass in the fairway
