"Science maybe saying the universe is uncreated but religion is saying the same thing," Christianity says no such thing. There is a huge difference between what "science says" and what some particular "scientist says". There is no scientific evidence that the universe is eternal and uncreated.

They weren't primitive, were they?! ;-) What is primitive about sacrificing your first born or burning thousands and thousands of animals believing that you are appeasing some great power who enjoys that sort of thing and will help you in your troubles with other barbarian tribes! What is primitive about rubbing blood on your big toe and your ear in order to impress the crowd! Certainly nothing primitive about practicing tribal genocide the way some people have a passion for golf. Killing every man, woman, and child--tribe after tribe--except for the virgins (how did they test for that?) which they were to keep for "their own use". Do you think making human sacrifice the lynch pin of your belief is superstitious or primitive? C'MON!! Get real! Do you think the person who wrote about the flood that covered the mountains and how Adam named all the animals in a single day and the tower of babel and all that stuff was primitive?? C'mon now!!
