Hey Doug, thanks for the great detailed description on the demark sequential; I'll be studying your post and CHK, and MTON charts to start learning this one.
Given the mechanical nature of the sequential, I might be able to set up a scan in tc2000.

Your generosity, teaching abilities, and PATIENCE continue to amaze me & inspire me. thanks again.

re AMZN looking good, though personally i hate gaps...you never know if/when they will be closed....also I will look into the FA picture,to see where earnings are going. An IBD rank of 1 (the lowest) might be because it is so new, or maybe for other things. That's cool they are building a distribution center near you.

re BOSCF....the trading logs are really weird today. almost all block trades.

Hey Doug,

BTUI is still going. Have you had a chance to check it out yet?

MTON --
Doug,
Is MTON also in the midst of an ascending triangle pattern? TC2000 moneystream (especially on a 2 day chart) & 13 day TSV have been quite divergent with price. The triangle seems to also be just a few days away from completion-- is this part of what the sequential pattern sets up?
Also, IBD has MTON under heavy accumulation for the last two weeks, moving from a B to an A, but with no significant price move to go with it. RSI has also been climbing slowly but steadily.
If we are looking at a quick move up I'm guessing around 10 1/4...

I looked at CHK's chart-- cool pattern! Do you find the sequential as a pretty reliable formation in terms of finding good buy/sell points? Are there any good points along the way that scans would be useful for? (ie 3 days before completion, etc...)

Sequentials....

Been working on scans. Still need some more work to do but here's one that's pretty close I think (if I've got the rules right!): APGR -- I think yesterday was day 9 of the completion (so 4 completion days left....)
