Chavez diverted that money for his own special interests. how much is he accused of taking? $2 billion? Compare that to what we give Israel each year, that number looks like peanuts. The poor of Venezuela are as poor now as the have been since Chavez took power. not true. Yes hid not built skyscrapers, but he spent on health care and education it more than it can be said about our government. 20% of American children live below the poverty line, we rank forth where children live below the poverty line in the developed world. The financial support of Israel the only true democracy in the ME is a moral and worthy cause again, not true. Israel is an apartheid state where the president and the prime minister and the rest of the government can only be Jewish. You want true democracy in the ME, you only have look north of Israel and to the south of it. Alas, these democracies will not allow themselves to be our puppets.
