I think Bernanke is a very talented and capable head of the Fed. I also think he did a good job in the 2008-2009 period during the financial crisis, given the circumstances of the times.

The problem that many of us have with him is that he continues to pursue policies that, over very long time periods in the past, have nearly always produced a marked weakening of a nations currency, and a concomitant surge in inflation. Furthermore, there is a perception that he continues to do so primarily for the benefit of the banks, the stock market, and Wall Street in general, to the long term disadvantage of the American economy.

And we want him to stop.
