A matter of opinion. US commentators were calling Trudeau a Communist, and Canadians socialists. If that's not an indicator of his Canada-first views, what is? "Superpower" means something. In a country on China's border, what China wants matters. Just ask Tibetans. As for "kissing ass", the reason Canucks died in Afghanistan was so Canadian trucks could cross the border. Bush and Rice really sucker-punched Canada, especially after we refused the trumped-up fight in Iraq -- and wasn't that a big success? Canadians have been good friends and allies for the US - but there's a limit. Anyway, this is OT; I'll be happy to communicate by PM. Jim
