Obviously 32oz Coca-Colas aren't the only reason why Americans are so obese these days, but Bloomberg wants to see whether such a law can be implemented and what effect it would have. Maybe but let's not forget that soda is responsible for a number of unhealthy results.........ie, tooth loss and diabetes. After that, other foods will be "regulated" as well. Ice cream, potato chips, fried chicken, and other mortal sins of the diet police will be controlled by government. All because Americans can't be trusted to lose weight on their own. My God all he did was put a limit on excess..........you can't get 32 oz containers of soda. However, you still can get two 16 oz containers. How is that serious regulation? This the same argument that has led to fewer and fewer people having more and more guns. As in.....Americans have to be free........free as the frigging wind. After all, we are the descendants of the wild, wild West. By the way, I've lost 10 pounds since the start of this year, and I didn't have to wait for the state of CA to tell me that I too can't order 32oz sodas. And I achieved this even as I suffered a knee injury from last year. Congrats. A factoid I just learned.....for every pound you gain, its puts 4 lbs of additional pressure on your knees. So having lost 10 lbs, you took 40 lbs of pressure off your knees. There's no substitute for personal responsibility, no matter how much liberals try. Yes, but it doesn't hurt to try to educate people. Look at all the info that has come out since the law was proposed. Honestly I never that people under 30 wore dentures and that soda drinking is the main cause.
