Genie Energy Ltd., ( GNE) a leading independent retail energy provider and a developer of unconventional energy projects, will announce financial results for the fourth quarter (the three months ended December 31st) and year end 2012 on Wednesday, March 13, 2013.

On March 13th, Genie Energy will issue an earnings release at 7:30 AM Eastern. The earnings release will also be posted in the “Investors” section of the Genie Energy website ( www.genie.com/investors) and filed in a current report (Form 8-K) with the S.E.C. At 8:30 AM Eastern, Genie Energy’s management will host a conference call to discuss financial and operational results, business outlook and strategy. The call will begin with management’s remarks followed by Q&A with analysts and investors.
