I'm sure, of course, that Obama will take credit for the resulting drop in the deficit, just like Clinton took credit for balancing the budget that congressional Republicans passed.

Not surprising...you consistently think the worst of Obama and the most benign about the GOP.

Well said. Its pretty typical of Ten and yet, he wants us to believe he's being fair and balanced.

Al,
Not surprising...you consistently think the worst of Obama and the most benign about the GOP.
No, I consistently think that it's politics as usual.

OF COURSE Obama is going to take credit for the good and blame the other side for the bad. That's politics.

OF COURSE the Republicans, being the minority party, are taking a defensive, obstructionist strategy. That's politics.

You're acting like what the Republicans are doing is unprecedented, and that the effects to the nation are equally as unprecedented. Maybe you're being bombarded by the sensationalist media, who themselves have a vested interest in blowing things way out of proportion.

Meanwhile the Dow is making new highs and most economists are expecting a cyclical bull market this year, sequestration or not. That contradicts your view that the Republicans are trashing the economy in hopes of blaming Obama for it.

If anyone, YOU'RE the one who's thinking the worst about the GOP and the most benign of Obama.
