Gary, I decided last night that I was spending way too much time tracking interday movements of ASND share price and market in general. No CNBC in the A.M., no quotes, and no SI during work. I had no idea anything was going on until I received a voicemail late today from my brother relaying the press release on the takeover rumor. Wow! Looking forward to scrolling through the posts as the situation developed. I'm certainly not euphoric as my price is still higher (and a buyout @$35 is cheap), but it sure feels good to be a little bit vindicated after Mory's confirmation of meeting estimates for the quarter and $1.45 for '98 (I forecasted $1.43 several days ago). I'm sure Tim has been doing some big time rationalization for his obnoxious posts of the past day or two practically guaranteeing that .23 would not be met. He should be eating a little bit of crow right now. Thank you very much for your arduous work on this thread, and dare I say congratulations on the likelihood of being right on with your takeover predictions. We'll see what tomorrow brings, (I'll try to stay off line again!) Regards, Larry
