Yeah, I'm aware it is a partisan thing. They're wanting to elevate Costco to a higher status because they don't pay merely minimum wage -- and because their ownership is leftwing nutjobbery.

I just look at it from a fundamentals perspective. I do not believe the story that the company is best serving its shareholders by spending more money on employee costs.

But I do believe that is management's prerogative.
