Samsung will do what they always do. Make moderate bets on all three, Tizen, Android and Windows Phone, and put their major resources into the one that is the most successful for them. I hope Tizen succeeds, but have serious doubts it will. Samsung's commitment to it alone won't be enough. Samsung's Windows efforts were laughable this year; almost no one liked their Windows Phone.

People that don't know the Android APIs do not have a clue what they are writing about. Almost all of Samsung's own software, apps and services of its Android smartphones, make heavy, and I mean real heavy, use of Android APIs. You take out Android 4.2.1 and its APIs from the Galaxy S4 and you will end up with shit. Tizen is another DOA Bada.
