While treadmilling at the gym today I read a close captioned news bit that talked about three states back east that had passed laws against banks requiring fingerprints for non-customer check cashing. They said California might be next. They said the practice had cut down on check cashing fraud! But this invasion of privacy issue seems to be ruling in the halls of lawmakers.
