Krauthammer is a smart guy; but like everyone, he sometimes gets it wrong. He was wrong on this exchange -- Cruz rolled over Feinstein. I think Cruz's point is that Feinstein wants to arbitrarily ban certain weapons which meet an arbitrary criteria and that would be no different than banning certain books for the same reason. Then Feinstein blabbers about bazookas and military weapons........but what are included in the ban have nothing to do with either bazookas or military weapons. It's like....we don't like automatic weapons so let's ban anything we want that looks like them.
