Telling the greedheads to go wild. What could go wrong? Everyone KNOWS markets regulate themselves!

The unregulated lenders made no down payment, stated income, no doc loans to anyone with a pulse, while the unregulated bankers above them packaged those stinky, rotten mortgages into Mortgage Backed Securities that they sold around the world, while lying about the rotten mortgages hidden within them. Safe as houses!

There are any number of people who have tried to explain it to you. The media has explained it. Economists have explained it. You don't want to hear it because it doesn't fit your perception of the world and your understanding of how economics work.
