Ted -

Thanks for the link to the KEA profile. I looked at Broc to compare, and wondered what you--and the others on the thread--make of these figures.

In the last three months, institutions sold 700,000 shares, purchasing only 30,000, and reducing their holdings to 18% of the total.

Are institutional holdings included in the float? If so, since the float is only 1.6 million, the institutional sell-off since August amounts to 42% of the float. And since institutions still own 893,000 shares, does that mean they owned the whole float three months ago? These figures don't seem to add up, so I'd appreciate a brief lesson.

I seem to remember that the one broker following Broc lowered their estimated 98 earnings after the recent investor meeting. Is there a connection? Do we know who the institutional investors are, and why they are selling?

In contrast insiders have neither been buying nor selling in the last six months, and are holding on to their 67% of the ourstanding.

This information is from dbc.com

Bob-good points. One reason I avoided CPWR and Keane as shorts is that "hype" type news releases were conspicuously absent in my research of them(unlike ZITL or VIAS). I am uncertain about their valuation at current levels, but long hedges in both stocks when I began shorting DDIM, ZITL and VIAS would have been a masterstroke! If and buts..
