That's what I said about China - wages up ~8x in 20 years.

You have proof now that global wages have gone up 20-40x since the 1970s? -g-

China's pay rates have zoomed for decades. They can bid up prices of stuff. Suck imports and countries can benefit.

This is good. Africans now have to compete with the Chinese for food. This food inflation topples governments in Arab Spring thing, force modernization and efficiency into countries that were used to import the food cheap.

Trucks in Kenya need better roads, less corrupt officers, better harbors and so on.

China gets farm from owners and bundled them together into big farms. My friend Sundebao returned from China. We discussed food prices and impacts in the world economy.

He said those tiny little farms and the farms not cultivated are being taken over by the government.

They bundled them together into bigger farms that go into modern big scale farming.
How about the owners? They must lave their houses behind. Government provides each family member with 45 m2 of living area in apartments built by government.

Government compensate them for the use of their land in monthly installments. So old folks make a living from their farms. Youth can continue going to work in factories and as the farms are left behind they are taken over by the government and kept producing.

His father and mother are being taken out of their farmland. Did he complain? No. For him was the most normal thing.
