They will buy, assuming they have cash or credit line.. Not so many average Americans have either right now.

My view is the Fed has been pumping air into a leaking tire.. The question is how long they can keep doing it and warding off the eventual deflation.. They may "over-pressurize" that tire, but it still has a leak called lower wages (demand), unemployment, and consumer debt..

All of which are deflationary.
