It would take too long to explain all the happenings over a couple of decades.

However, he really only formed 4 companies. ATCO..later split into (PAMT & LRAD), EDIG (earlier named Norris Communications), PTSC, & ASCO....

A crooked congressahole named 'Duke Cunningham' took bribes, and stopped the 24 Mln$ ATCO contract for long range acoustic hailers...aka Lrad's.
Duke is non-contrite and last I knew, still in prison. ATCO eventually got the contract, several yrs later..after losing some of their key people to soon to be competition. The LRAD spinoff from ATCO is still selling their long range hailers....to our military and other countries.

EDIG...I still own some, basis...6.1cents....so, even now, some 14 yrs later, I'm up 230%...(was 300%+ at 19.7c)

PTSC, their IP is what allows almost every processor chip out there to run...Original basis 5.1c (still up 290%)

ASCO...helicopter, it worked, many factors as to why they didn't sell any in the US...Liability being not the least of the reason. (lost money on that one, still want one of the 'copters)

The PAMT spinoff....well when u're creating brand spanking new tech, sometimes, it just takes a while...we'll see how it goes. (PAMT & LRAD spinoff was a smart move...2 different sets of customers)
I'm up 1,700% since a buck...'nuf said...

One main problem the cos (except ASCO) have , is other cos ripping off their inventions, another, in the case of PAMT, is that the tech wasn't quite developed enuf, and cost too much....
might* have been solved..

Don't believe all the nay-sayers, or hypers, for that matter....do some indepth research, if u choose....first.

PS,
Some of the people buying at 24.50...were desperate naked shorts..IMO.
PPS,
Woody didn't ever claim to be a good businessman...to my knowledge. Good thing they have others in charge now.

I think you have unfairly characterized Savant as a pumper for the stock. Although there is no doubt he is a proponent I've never seen him suggest to buy the stock. Lets face it there are only 4 people on this board, so whats to pump. he continues to put up press releases. they tend to be positive.

"they simply don’t work and nobody wants them"

I have met Woody, seen a number of his inventions, been bombarded and watched sound directed like beams of light. No his inventions are truly amazing. HOWEVER, should you read a number of my posts on woody, I think that he is a horrible businessman/marketer. Inventions without market. PLUS he seems somewhat impulsive with his hiring and firing of presidents. If you want to keep your job don't cross Woody.

He seems to continue to upgrade his technology for one- off opportunities. Once he perfects it sizable orders never materialize. LRAD was the only thing that actually had much in sales. I'm guessing he got bored with that, had a disagreement with the CEO and they agreed LRAD should be spun off so he could go back and tinker.

"why does he take his inventions public with just another company , if he isn’t just in the business of selling stock and not product."

I think because he gets bored, the current Marketing person/CEO, wants to focus on what they have currently, Woody wants to tweak what they have or work on something else. No I dont think he makes for a good manager of ANY company. But he can run my lab anytime.

I have no idea why PAMT has gone up. Currently I'm out of the stock, but watch it out of past interest. So my question to you is......what made you come out of the woodwork? Interest? Short? bad day? I still know people dabbling in this one so appreciate any new downside thoughts on the subject.
