Milton was a tough act to follow. Still, there are some very articulate libertarian spokesmen today. Sowell comes to mind, along with George Mason's Walter Williams - almost a contemporary Bastiat. Amity Shlaes seems a rising star, as does Stossel, among many, many others.

Seems to me the problem lies in the fact that those controlling popular media have a greater interest in suppressing that message than in Friedman's heyday.
