Any other country would have galloping inflation if did that.

Indeed, and having the reserve currency means that world inflation is higher and also that it does eventually come back to the US. World CPI from the IMF does show significantly higher inflation recently (3.6%), and even more so in emerging areas (6.3%).

Plus, the Triffin dilemma means that the US must print... and also that it will bite the US hard when flows and confidence reverse, much like what happened in the UK.
