This is what these people believe. Being a ditchdigger is the same as being an M.D. Time and again I've heard liberal radio hosts talk about how "teachers and assembly line workers ought to be paid more for what they do". Even the least skilled among us are "underpaid". Talk about a race to the bottom!

To them, being a NASCAR mechanic takes the same "hard work" as becoming a neurosurgeon. Never mind what goes into preparing the two for their work, never mind the judgment and gravity of the job. NASCAR mechanics are underpaid, neurosurgeons are overpaid. That's the bottom line.

I think he is smart. I think NASCAR mechanics are very smart. I think Carson is nuts.

As I said there is a difference between being smart and nuts. It does little to be smart if one is nuts and cannot see reality.
