Steve,

The 3-inch drive was the JTS story, the story has changed. JTS is now an undercapitalized 3.5 inch desktop manufacturer with a single plant in India and bad management that is insensitive to shareholders
(try calling Tom Mitchell or having Investor Relations give you any straight answers). Amber will own a majority of the common after the next round of share increases and JTS will become a pseudo-public company(Victor Posner was the master of this until the courts interceded). JTS may have a future but I think the current common shareholders aren't part of that future.

For this quarter expect flat revenues vs. last quarter (28.4 MM) and a smaller loss, of course last quarter had a large inventory write-down.

Back when Tom Mitchell took shareholder calls I asked him what he thought the future would be for JTS, he told me he hoped the 3-inch drive would replace the 2.5 inch and that JTS would produce revenue in excess of $1 Billion annually. Toms dream has disappeared, apparently along with his ability to talk to shareholders.
