I think humans will find a way....one thing is for sure, that if the price of oil continues to go up there will be some massive incentives to find new sources of energy, and some folks will probably be successful. the best cure for high prices is...high prices... rp

I like nuclear the best Nuclear, but Thorium based.. Truly a political error of epic proportions, opting for Uranium back in the day because of the war mongers wanting the enriched Plutonium ...whereas the Thorium option, with research support, would have had us decades of where we will eventually get anyway, because the Thorium based nuclear option is simply overwhelming in terms of safety and fuel access The road that should have been chosen....
