IF one were to look at numbers only and not WHY those numbers are where they are. Would they look at the price of the spx, dow, and many equities within and say their market caps are HIGHER or lower since 2009?

If so then would one have to conclude that the system is stronger or weaker?

FORGET THE WHY?

Just look at it using numbers.

Bernanke and others goal was to increase those numbers. That has been accomplished. It's a good thing versus the flip side of a return to 2009 levels across the board.

NOW for me, These numbers could take a hit of x % and STILL be strong in comparison to 2009.

As for GOLD. That sector is in the 16's and is tired of going down.

As for the bell curve it's in the 64.7 range. I'm seeing some starting to roll left. IF that continues then more will do so. Regardless it's coming and I prefer to be proactive to see it coming then react when it happens.

Those looking to enter INTC lower will get their opportunity.

Those looking to sell apple higher will get their opportunity.

The question is will they buy intc when they get that opportunity or get nervous and miss it as many did with BAC. Where are all those bears NOW re BAC. tsk tsk

OR will they not sell apple when they should to watch it retrace to test lows.

Time will tell.

ME? I've sold covered calls on JDSU as it pushed it's high recently. I'll close if needed or just let them expire. Yet the point is there's a time to exploit opportunities. There are many ways to do so.
