Hi Judy. I have been doing a little reading around SI and I have been reading the Idea thread this week. I'm not sure what to make of the market as far as techs, so I have been doing very little trading. The S&P started down long before the techs. It's almost impossible for anyone to predict earnings, so the natural direction is to lower them. I'm not convinced the earnings impact will really be bad for the techs. My concrens are more with the non-tech multi-nationals, the very ones that have been doing well. Short term, you can't make a buck going that much against the grain.

Still watching DS and I still like it. It got a whole bunch cheaper the last couple days. Will watch to see if the sale picks up speed.

Thanks for the comments on WIND and QCOM. Talk with you later.

Judy, do you happen to know of a site on the internet that has option volitility information available? I'm disconnected from my usual data but do have internet access.

Looks like we are in a trading range for a time and I'd like to take a look at volitility to set up some option plays. Don't think the S&P is going far without the techs and I can't see the techs talking flight so I'm thinking of shorting the S&P and buying some further out calls on some techs, and later (when we get a little life in technology) selling some calls.

Cheers!
