Thursday December 4, 3:19 pm Eastern Time Intel sees PC shipments near 100 mln/yr SANTA CLARA, Calif., Dec 4 (Reuters) - An Intel Corp executive said Thursday the personal computer industry is approaching 100 million units, on an annual worldwide run rate basis. ''We're pushing 100 million units a year on a run rate basis,'' said Mike Aymar, vice president and general manager of Intel's consumer products group. Independent research firms have estimated PC sales to be in the 90 to 100 million unit range over the next year.
