Trying to stay positive on the company but the quarter really missed badly but is flat over last year. This is a big company to turn around and the Sun Micro acquisition is looking bad at the moment. With $34 billion in cash the company should be able to gain their footing and compete in the markets they choose. They spend 2X in R&D in comparison to CRM's revenue. If they let the future get away from them, shame on them.

Today is a good old fashioned washout. Let's hope for better days!

Management surely has confidence in their future. 7% of the stock has been retired over the past year because of repurchases.

I have been ORCL since 1997 and they have always bounced back. Do not count them out.
