Elmat, my view on retirement is that I would not like it, and don't plan on doing it.

I was basically retired for several years with very bad rheumatoid arthritis, and was very happy when I got better and was able to go back to work again.

I am going to keep going to court until a judge tells me that I can't practice in his court anymore because I am gaga. Then, and only then, will I quit.

But I work at a desk. I could do my job with a walker, or in a wheelchair. The courts all have handicapped access. I know a lawyer who walks with a walker, and have seen lawyers in wheelchairs. As long as the brain works, as long as I can see, as long as the fingers work, I will work.

Been working since I was 14. I like work.

My husband wants to retire when he's 70. I will be 75 then. I might consider retiring to keep him company. No idea what the financial situation will be then. Right now it looks to be OK.
