I retired very early and chose to risk not having insurance until age 60. I then enrolled in the NY State Bridge plan for those with pre-existing conditions (gout) and no insurance for at least 6 months. I pay $362/month
with Zero Deductible, $20 Office Visit Copay, $500 Inpatient Hospitalization Per Occurrence Copay, $100 Emergency Room Copay, Pharmacy Benefits, Vision Care, Preventive Care. ..........not bad at all.....


How he pays as much as he says he does is still a mystery to me.

We are thinking of getting a group plan in a company we recently started which should bring the cost down. Hopefully.
