Really? I can't form negative opinions of Nazis or ancient Roman culture

Have all the negative opinions you like, repeat them daily, who cares but there are many things that are beneficial that permeate our present that are part of the greater reality of who we are. The transmission of ideas preserved in the roots of our speech, rituals, myths, folk lore, building techniques & architecture to our art & poilitics. And its a vast arena of influences we are looking back to, one of America's greatest strength was the melting pot multiplicity of influences that reached these shores in waves, much like Rome.

Your welcome to draw stereotypes from your agenda , one can pick examples of tyranny & abuse of power all throughout history from every side, no one group guiltless or hasn't experienced times under mad rulers or tyrants. To blame Darwin's theory for all the more recent post modern forms of atheism & promoting human devaluation is simple minded, for the inspiration from science has been tremendous if one remembers there are the great one's that remained humble & saw wisdom in knowing how little we know.

When someone said ""Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's" you find nothing of the sort happened . There are only those things that are preserved & passed on behaviorally & culturally in one form of another . What is infused & survives or what discarded is an ongoing process ,much of what was Caesar live on in us today. Its a good thing to be Roman, wonderful people but you may think otherwise, who cares.
