This is for anyone.

Does anyone have any information about institutional holdings for Gateway?

In light of the losses for the day for some of the box makers. Does today's upturn in Gateway reflect any positive signal for the company?

Does anyone had any information regarding the earnings potential for this quarter in light of the fact that there were no warnings coming from Gateway regarding this quarter (since today is December fourth and that passed warnings from previous quarters came out on the third of that month)?

Any knowledgeable response would be appreciated.

Avi G,

I second the motion! Just sold another one of my friends on a 200MMX with printer and monitor. Paid $2,499. Like I said before my friend Ann will be buying hers after Christmas.

The people I talk to are definitely not looking for a $1,000 box without a monitor or printer.

They want a 200 or a 233MMx with a 17 inch monitor and a decent hp printer and neither Dell nor Cpq can sell that package for $1,000.

And like you my friends and family have found their service to be superior and after talking my 71 year mother through all her problems they can deal with anyone!!!! By the way which were not with her GTW computer but with her neophyte knowledge of software and computers.

Regards, Al

Avi

i agree with you on the great support you get from gateway. i have owned a p133 about 1 1/2 years now. my 17" monitor made a popping sound a couple of times in the last month accompanied with a flash of light. i didn't like this after it happened a couple of times. called gateway on friday of last week. explained what had happened. got put on hold for about ten seconds. person came back and was to ship me a new monitor. since my system has a three year warranty this is what i had expected gateway to do anyway. i received the monitor on wednesday.

gateway stands behind their products. i will buy my next pc from gateway.
