Martin I don't know what your profession is but you appear to speak the language of a technician working for a networking company that installs hardware. IMO you have a fuzzy picture of the present and the future, the networkers will not rule, the telecos or the cable companies will, depending who wins the battle. IMO the present networkers will be fully integrated into the two within the next 5-7 years. would suggest that you read some of the recent articles by George Gilder, IMHO he has a vision of the futre.
