Many thanks for the valuable information, I appreciate it, it is definitely valuable to know the volume at any time... my model doesn't include volume, but at this point it doesn't seem to matter because my model will tell me exactly at what price and time I should reverse my position... no doubt, if the declining volume in fact does signal a pending decline, then I'll catch the decline at the early stage since I'll have a sell signal at that time...

It seems all reliable market timing models are like roads, they all lead to the same place provided the model is genuinely reliable, as they say, all roads lead to Rome...

Again, many thanks for your valuable input, I do use both up and down volume as part of my NT indicator...

Harmens, it's hard to disagree with your logic..

But one has to wonder what capital flight from Europe will mean to both the USD and US equities.

Can this "rising tide".. (errr.. tsunami) actually raise all boats, if only temporarily?

My view is the US is the last domino to fall in this global financial morass..

I believe this was also the case in 1929, just prior to the Great Depression.. Financial problems traveled around the world, while the US stock market continued to soar.. Until it stopped soaring.. and gravity finally took hold..
