Where there is the problem is easy access to guns and the proliferation of those guns. Its estimated there are 300 million guns in this country. No country needs to have that many guns in the hands of too many crazy people. Who decides what is the "right number?" Who defines crazy and who tests for it? The best way would be to not let the people who want them most to have them. Unfortunately, that would not be very 'democratic'. Thus, we are left with being very restrictive.........outlawing gun show sales, requiring strong background checks, and implementing other measures that reduce gun trafficking in this country.
