It was worse than getting dehydrated unwisely--Halladay had a bad intestinal virus for a week, with diarrhea and vomting. He was one SICK Fellow, Jerry. It was that real illness that ruined his SpringTraining--he lost 10 days.
He pirched in 4 innings in Minor league game yesterday, no reason that to get him get a pitch count. He was he up 3walks 7 hits in 4 innings. He was out their just to get some pitches.
He was on track until he was hit with vicious intestinal virus. Cripes he was 10 pounds below weight, AFTER rehydrating-after the prolonged vicious virus(At first they thought it was what is called "24-hr. intestinal flu")
No, Jerry, Roy really got a body slam from the virus.
<<I thought that's what the exhibition season was for>> Jerry, he was one physically sick dude, that was not his exhibition season rehabbing schedule(VBG:) i see no way he can avoid 4wwks in minors--Phils better do it Hallady will as ever " Give the ball and pitch, i never complain" Phils need make the decision NO matter what Hallady wants. i am more afraid of Phils NOT doing this--that would be a mistake that could ruin Halladay's season and Phils season, in the long run..Max

Today: Chase Utley and Ryan Howard hit back-to-back home runs for the second consecutive day, but rookie Jackie Bradley Jr. and the Boston Red Sox roughed up Cliff Lee in a 7-6 victory over the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday.
Bradley hit a three-run homer in the second inning and finished with four RBIs. He had a sacrifice fly in the third as Boston scored three more times off Lee, who was making his final start in Florida before the Phillies break camp later this week.
