Another company in this sector (3Dfx) just pre-announced strong results for the quarter. Is it possible that increased unit-volumes of lower-priced PCs help companies which make PC add-on products like OAKT?

GWM, you appear to know Oakt faily well. Is this true? If so, are you in the industry?

I would agree that Oakt has a lot of irons in the fire. And, that it has jumped from 7 to 12 twice in the last year. However, something is not right here. First, I would agree that the 3D/ DVD stocks are definitely out of favor. Looking at some of Oakts competitors, they are all down. However, the one thing I find very interesting and frankly, very dishearting is that there are analysts out there that have Oakt as a buy. One report I read from Sept. had an analyst projecting the stock at $15 a share in 6 months(the stock was treading at $11). BTW, earning projections were the same as they are now. So, with that being the case, where are these guys now. If things have not changed, why would'nt analysts come out with a strong buy now. I think something is going on but I don't know what.

What do other people think about the fact that no analysts are coming to Oakts defense. I know that when other stocks get beat up, their analysts come out to their defense and reiterate their recommendations. With Oakt, we are hearing absolutely nothing.

BTW, by not hearing from them, it does'nt make me feel like Oakts management is concerned about their shareholders.

Thoughts?

By appointment only? Does that mean they had nothing to show?
