Betancourt's contract also forced the decision as it stated if they don't release him by 25th they MUST keep him and must guarantee his pay for 2013. Detroit Tigers and Fans were sick of him--he had Major Goat Horns. i think Philleis just signed him as safety valve if Glavis had a bad spring--he had a fine spring and he now has demonstrated he is aces at 3rd SS and 2nd, as a fielder. Glavis only played SS, in his entire time of playing basebal, until he had to fill for Utley last year.. As a fielding SS he is at least as good as Rollins in his Prime. Wonder if they will keep Orr?
