On Moneyline with Lou Dobbs on CNN at 7 pm (repeat at 11 pm) there will be an interview with the CEO of Chevron to discuss the effect of a global warming treaty (meeting now in Kyoto) on world oil prices. Here's another pothole on our road to prosperity.

Nope, and nope. I'm looking for consolidation in the current range before earnings announcements push us to new highs. That's how I see it playing. There was the slight possibility that we'd get a huge short sqeeze and rally to new highs, but that didn't happen. I'd be accumulating those stocks you're interested in and not worry about paying the absolute bottom price, just be reasonable in your point to buy--ie.-What do you think is a fair price for that stock.ANybody who bought NE at 17 during the last correction at the beginning of '97 could really care less that it bounced around for two months and actually got down to 15 1/2 before it launched to here. (including myself) That's my philosophy anyway. The most money I've ever made has been on stocks I've bought and held.
