I think they bail because neither party has the standing to file the lawsuit. No one in CA gov't, nor is Obama or Holder representing the lawsuits in Court. That means the people who brought the suit may not have any standing to bring the suits.

I agree. Roberts and Kennedy will join the sane ones.

I cannot believe how stupid our supreme court is.

Gay marriage is a simple civil rights issue and it does not matter how long it has been out of fashion.

Why should we make it legal? Because we are now smart enough to figure out it is a civil rights issue, is the answer!!!

We were dumb about slavery, not allowing women to vote, segregation and gay marriage. Ok, so now we are smart enough to see the error of our ways.

So we should change when we can see the error of our ways - should be the answer to that lame fuck Scalia.!
